I am a mother of 5 adult children, and kuia (grandmother) of 5 mokopuna. I am of both Māori and Pākeha decent and I stand because I am concerned for the freedoms of all New Zealanders that is in danger of being stripped from the future generations of Aotearoa-NZ.

My priorities:

As a teacher educator, I know education can be used to ‘harm’ or ‘heal a nation’.  I will be committed to initiatives that adequately prepare our children for ‘the real stuff’ needed to achieve an academic, economic and social success.  I wish to see all kiwis prosper in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

I believe ONE Party will provide an avenue to ‘reset’ the governance over our land, and together, we will ‘make our nation great again’.

I have the skills to work across government departments, and within communities to collectively address issues to do with homelessness-poverty, oranga tamariki, mental health, suicide, educational disparities, and drug addictions, presently crippling our people and nation.

Why me?  I love righteousness, justice and freedom for all people – including freedom of speech.  I have been a Christian for over 30 years, and an elder within our local Church for 5 years helping those within the community and church.  I understand the role of governance, pastoral care and honouring scriptural truths.
