Hong Hu (Robert) is married and lives in Auckland. He is a New Zealand and NSW registered lawyer and a first and only Notary Lawyer from Mainland China in New Zealand. He has assisted many thousands immigrants for their legal works in past 20 years. He is a chairperson for New Zealand China understanding association.

He has written several legal books including “Research on Modern Arbitration Law” and “Practical guide to overseas investment immigration” He is currently a PHD candidate at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi researching on Tikanga Māori and Treaty of Waitangi from a Chinese Perspective.

He wishes to address the public awareness of Treaty of Waitangi and Tikanga Māori knowledge especially to guide new immigrants and the next generation to understand its importance.
