Ps Steven Campbell is the Chairman for the Apostolic Council Aotearoa. He has worked in the transport industry driving trucks and buses in the '70s and '80s and eventually owned his own taxi business and Super Shuttle Airport Transport Franchise. In 1990 he changed his career pathway and achieved an Introduction to Social Work Certificate at A.I.T., Auckland. From there he pursued a career in Social Work and landed my first role as a Whanau Counsellor at a Boys Home in West Auckland and then in South Auckland in a fulltime live-in position for 3 years as a House Parent.
Steven then worked as an Iwi Support Worker in Mental Health in the Far North for Ngati kahu Social Services 5 years. Currently he works in Forensic Psychiatry Kaupapa Maori unit for the W.D.H.B., and has worked there for 15 years.
He has been involved with the local churches in Auckland for the past 35 years, and presently the Senior Pastor at City Gate Church, Auckland.
Steven wants to see a righteous change in this beautiful land of Aotearoa for Tangata whenua and other Nations for his children, mokopuna, and great mokopuna. Now is the time to make a stand.
